My Pain IQ

A resource for people with chronic pain

About

About My Pain IQ

MyPainIQ.com is a website designed as an information resource to help people living with chronic pain.

This website is created by a Physician Assistant who also lives with chronic pain.

After sitting on both sides of the exam room for many years, 2 things became clear:

  • healthcare providers do not have enough time to share all of the information that would be helpful to patients

  • there was not a good source of medically accurate, non-biased information for patients that can be accessed without an appointment… until NOW!

Everything on this website is peer-reviewed (meaning that it is medically accurate) and is information that I often recommend to my own patients. This information is also what I have used on a daily basis to help live life to the fullest while dealing with chronic pain.

Enjoy!

About Me

Hi, I'm Brianna!   I'm a Physician Assistant and Certified Athletic Trainer specializing in chronic pain management. I have almost a decade of patient care experience and a lifetime of experience with chronic pain.

I have a condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which caused me to develop a Spinal CSF leak and dysuatonomia. All of these are considered rare diseases, and I had to fight hard to even get a diagnosis- let alone treatment.

My mission is to help others gain access to treatment and live their best life.

Thank you for visiting my site! Please follow on social media and share with your friends if you enjoy My Pain IQ!
